Because of the huge benefits associated with testosterone shots, there are many people who take the medication even without recommendation from a doctor. This is especially common among people who regularly work out at the gym.

It should be kept in mind however that there are several side effects to taking testosterone injections that could arise. Although these occur in very rare cases, it has been reported that some people suffer from these negative side effects.

  • Enlargement of the breasts.
  • Decreased sex drive.

Testosterone injections should never be taken without first consulting a doctor. And it should never be taken if you're a diabetic.
